Marshall Bradley „Brad“ Webb (* 27. November 1961) ist ein Generalleutnant der United States Air Force, der derzeit das Air Education and Training Command befehligt . Zuvor war er Kommandant des Special Operations Command der United States Air Force und davor Kommandant des HQ der NATO Special Operations Forces. Zuvor war er stellvertretender Kommandierender General des Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) und an der Operation zur Tötung von Osama bin Laden beteiligt . Webb saß während der Mission neben Präsident Barack Obama im Situationsraum des Weißen Hauses . Später diente er als Direktor für Pläne, Programme, Anforderungen und Bewertungen beim United States Air Force Special Operations Command.
Militärkarriere
Aufgewachsen in Austin, Texas , ist Webb ein Kommandopilot mit mehr als 3.700 Flugstunden (meist in Hubschraubern ), davon 117 Kampfstunden in Afghanistan, Irak und Bosnien. Er kommandierte die 20. Special Operations Squadron , die 352. Special Operations Group , den 1st Special Operations Wing und die Twenty-Third Air Force . Zu seinen Stabsaufgaben zählen unter anderem Aufgaben im Joint Special Operations Command und im Büro des Verteidigungsministers (Politik).
Im Mai 2019 wurde Webb zum nächsten Kommandanten des Air Education and Training Command nominiert .
